HOW TO MAKE YOURSELF DRINK MORE WATER

Hey everyone!

Drinking a lot of water is a simple way to lose weight, make your skin more clear and moisturized and helps you to be healthier overall. However, it’s not very easy to fulfill a daily norm as some consider water not tasty and prefer flavored drinks and others tend to forget about drinking water. If one of this situations refers to you, don’t worry! I have some tips and I’m willing to share them with you.

First, small tips for those who forget about drinking.

Buy a reusable bottle that you’ll really like and carry it around with you all the time. With that done, you will see it, when you need to take something out of your bag, and remember to drink.

When you are at home, put your bottle with water right next to you so it is always in your sight.

If you still forget about it, use one thing that modern people don’t let out of their hands – your mobile phone. Just set several alarms or reminders and your phone will notify you when the time to drink water comes. You also can use one of the apps that help you to count how much water you need to drink in a day and control how much water you actually drink.

This the screenshot of the app I use – “Water Time Pro”. It’s free, allows to track the amount of water you drink and enables you to set reminders!

So now, when we are done with forgetfulness, let’s move to some detox water recipes that will make drinking water more enjoyable.

There are different detox water recipes based on what you want out of it. Below you can see my top-5.

1. Basic Detox Water

This recipe is the simplest one out of all. You’ll just need to add a lemon juice to your water and you are done. Drinking lemon water (especially if it’s warm) helps to flush the digestive system and rehydrate the body. I’ve been drinking a glass of warm lemon detox water for more than a month now and my stomach feels the best it ever felt!

2. Detox Water For Clean And Glowy Skin

As a person, who struggles with skin problems, I consider this recipe one of my favorites. For this one, you’ll need a cucumber, lemon and mint. This water is not only beneficial for your skin but also helps you to improve your digestion and rehydrate.

3. Strawberry & Watermelon Detox Water

This picture is not mine, I took it from the Internet because I couldn’t find watermelons in the store. If you know whose this photo is, please tell me in the comments so I can add a link.

This recipe is also one of my favorites because I love strawberries and watermelons. This detox water is extremely nutritional and, in my opinion, perfect during the summer heat. You can also add mint to your drink for extra freshness.

4. Fat Burning Detox Water

For this one, you will need grapefruit, which is known to help in fat burning, lemons and limes(optional), which flush out toxins out of your body, cucumbers and mint – all full of antioxidants and vitamins.

5. Apple & Cinnamon Detox Water

This recipe is extremely popular on weight-loss forums and blogs. I first saw this recipe on Lose Weight By Eating website several years ago. Both apples and cinnamon have a lot of health benefits and this detox water overall tastes so delicious. To make it you’ll need thinly sliced apples and cinnamon (sticks are more preferable than powdered cinnamon). This detox water perfectly matches my autumn mood, I don’t know why…maybe it’s because of the cinnamon?

If you use detox water for weight loss, I recommend to drink it cold because your body will need to heat it up and as a result will use more energy and burn some calories.
If you read to this point, I hope you enjoyed this post.

Let me know in the comments if you already tried out some of this tips. Also feel free to share some of your tips and tricks, it will be great to read them!

Stay healthy and beautiful!
